Juan Mata has congratulated team-mate David de Gea on being voted Player of the Month at Manchester United.
De Gea has been in superb form between the sticks for the Red Devils and has played a key part in their surge up the table, and victory tonight away at Southampton would put Louis van Gaal's men third.
Mata is delighted with his compatriot's form between the sticks and has wasted no time in praising him for his latest award.
"Against Stoke, David de Gea played yet another key role and you voted for him as the Best Player of the Month twice in a row", Mata wrote in his blog.

"It’s not easy for a goalkeeper to win these kind of awards, what he is doing this season is very commendable. Congratulations, my friend", the Spaniard added.
De Gea has so far clocked up 14 appearances for Manchester United in the Premier League, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
He is locked down on a contract at Old Trafford until 2016.
