Everton striker Romelu Lukaku admits he has been reading Sir Alex Ferguson and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's autobiographies as he wants to boost his winning mentality.

Lukaku spent last season on loan at Everton from Chelsea before joining the Toffees permanently in a big-money move during the summer.

He has found the going tougher in his second season at Goodison Park and admits to having turned to legendary former Manchester United manager Ferguson and current Paris Saint-Germain hitman Ibrahimovic for motivation.

Speaking at a Christmas lunch for Everton ladies, Lukaku said: "I've been reading Sir Alex Ferguson's and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's autobiographies.
