QPR want to snap up striker Pablo Osvaldo on loan from Italian giants Inter, who are ready to do all they can to facilitate the move.

Osvaldo is on loan at Inter from Southampton for the season, but has fallen out of favour with Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini, who recently added attacking options Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri to his squad.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp, desperate to bring in another striker at Loftus Road, wants Osvaldo on loan, but Inter are having to work to help the Italy international on his way.

According to Sky Italia, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, who is already in London, is set to hold talks with both Southampton and QPR as he attempts to shift Osvaldo to the R's.

The Saints are thought to be willing to allow Inter to decide Osvaldo's destination, with the hitman technically remaining on the books at the Italian outfit until June, as agreed last summer.

However, Osvaldo is at present cool on joining QPR, meaning Ausilio and the R's have work to do for the deal to become a reality.
