Two Roma players are being chased by English clubs, with the Giallorossi expecting to come under siege in the summer transfer window.
According to Italian daily Leggo, Manchester United are showing interest in Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, while Liverpool are looking closely at his team-mate Adem Ljajic.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is desperate to bolster his midfield options in the summer and Nainggolan has shot to the top of the list amid continuing fitness concerns about another Roma player, Kevin Strootman, who had been on the Dutchman's list.
Roma are hopeful of keeping hold of Nainggolan, however Manchester United are thought ready to place a tempting proposal in front of the Giallorossi.
Liverpool meanwhile have fixed their gaze on attacking midfielder Ljajic, ahead of a potential bid for the Serbian international.

Ljajic came close to joining Manchester United, with a deal agreed in 2009 for the attacking midfielder along with team-mate Zoran Tosic.
However, the Red Devils eventually opted against completing a deal for Ljajic.
