Juventus custodian Gianluigi Buffon has reminded his team-mates that no one is going to gift them the Serie A title this season and they need to fight to retain it.
The Bianconeri were held to a 2-2 draw at Cesena at the weekend after midfielder Arturo Vidal squandered a chance to score from a penalty late on.
And while the 37-year-old is disappointed with the team's performance, he insists that everyone including him, has to take responsibility for the dropped points
Though Massimiliano Allegri's team still hold a seven-point lead at the top of the table, Buffon insists that his team cannot take any match lightly as no one will come forward to gift the title to them.
“Sometimes Juve don’t understand that no one is going to gift them the title", Buffon told his club's official site.

"When others slip up we need to be ready to take advantage. These moments are too important to throw away."
Taking the responsibility upon himself, the skipper added that as the leader of the team he needs to offer positive energy to the side and tell them to be awake and alert every moment.
And his own failure to do just that, Buffon believes, led to their failure yesterday.
“Everyone is to blame, including the captain, who needs to try and offer positive energy to keep his team-mates awake and alert. Today I wasn’t able to."
However, the veteran goalkeeper also explained that a point was not that bad given the tough nature of the opposition.
"That said, it’s more than a decent point considering the difficulties we encountered."
Juventus will play Atalanta next on 20th February followed by a Champions League fixture against Borussia Dortmund next Tuesday.
