Daniel Sturridge has claimed that he is ready to link-up with Mari Balotelli at Liverpool, but admits it is up to Brendan Rodgers to play them both in the same line-up.
After recovering from recurring injury problems, the England striker made a fantastic return to the Liverpool team earlier this month and played a starring role in Liverpool’s 3-2 win over Tottenham in their last league encounter, with two assists.
Some have claimed that Sturridge’s return might revive Balotelli’s career at Liverpool and though the Italian scored a goal against Spurs, it was his first appearance in the league for the Reds after sitting out of the squad for three consecutive fixtures.
Rodgers is expected to continue employing his 3-4-3 formation with Sturridge as the loan striker, but the England man has claimed that he would have no problems in linking-up with Balotelli as his strike partner.
He stressed that he is ready to adapt his game for the Italian international, but admits that the decision over selecting them both in the same line-up is up to the manager.

"For me it's easy to play with, not just Mario, but with any of my team-mates”, Sturridge said in a press conference.
“I enjoy playing with Mario. I think he's a great guy. I get along with him. I feel we can have a successful partnership. It's down to the manager to choose which team he feels.
"But I think I can play with him or any of the players in the team. I get along with everybody and you have to adapt your game to each individual.”
