Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is expecting a tough match against a relegation-threatened VfB Stuttgart tonight.

Klopp’s side have suffered an inexplicable slump after finishing second in the Bundesliga last season and were in the relegation zone going into the winter break. They have won their last two matches and as a result they have climbed up to 15th in the table.

Tonight, Borussia Dortmund travel away to the Mercedes-Benz Arena and take on rock-bottom Stuttgart in a match where a win for the Yellow and Blacks would further strengthen their position in the league.

Klopp expects a tough encounter against Huub Stevens’ side as they have nothing to lose and as a result they will give it their all to take points off the visitors in order to resurrect their own bid for Bundesliga survival.

“We're playing against an opponent who wants to do the same thing that we do”, Klopp was quoted as saying by the club site.
