Manchester City have announced their side to take on Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash this evening at the Etihad Stadium.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini has selected Edin Dzeko and Sergio Augero to spearhead the Manchester City attack against Barcelona, while Wilfried Bony stands ready to come on off the bench if required. Samir Nasri and David Silva will be aiming to add creative spark to the side, with Fernando looking to boss midfield.
Pellegrini can turn to the experienced Frank Lampard off the bench if needed, while Jesus Navas also takes his spot among the substitutes. In defence, Vincent Kompany takes the captain's armband and will be partnered by Argentine Martin Demichelis. Joe Hart is between the sticks for the Citizens.
