Radamel Falcao has saluted Manchester United's 1-0 win over Newcastle United last night and insisted the Red Devils will continue to fight this season as they seek a top four finish.
Falcao was dropped from the starting eleven at St. James' Park last night as manager Louis van Gaal opted to field Wayne Rooney in an attacking role.
With Manchester United chasing the win as the game remained at 0-0, Van Gaal threw on Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata and Michael Carrick from the bench, overlooking Falcao.
Ashley Young ultimately scored Manchester United's goal in the 89th minute, keeping the side in the Premier League's top four.
"Important win last night", Falcao said via his Twitter account.
