Paris Saint-Germain have already agreed a contract in principal with their midfielder Javier Pastore, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
Pastore recently claimed that talks between the club and his representatives over a new deal have stalled, which created uncertainty around his future in the French capital.
However, the Argentine later said that he was calm about the situation and is confident that his future lies at the Parc des Princes.
According to Le Parisien, a deal in principle has been agreed between PSG and the player’s representatives since March and it only needs Pastore to put pen to paper for it to become official.
The contract is set to extend the Argentine’s stay at the club until the summer of 2020 and will double his salary at the Parc de Princes.

It has been claimed that the midfielder was not overly worried about the situation because he already knew that a new contract is in place and it only needs his signature.
The latest development will come as a setback for Liverpool, who have been tracking Pastore since last summer and were hoping to take advantage of the contract standoff in the summer.
Manchester United legend Eric Cantona recently lauded Pastore’s passing abilities and termed him the best player in the world.
