Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to conclude a deal to sign Manchester United winger Angel di Maria by the end of the day.

Reports in France have suggested that the French champions have reached an agreement over a fee for Di Maria with Manchester United and Argentine is expected to undergo a medical soon before linking up with his new team-mates.




PSG manager Laurent Blanc has sounded optimistic about signing the winger and it seems Di Maria’s move to the French capital is all but done.

There has been no official announcement from either party, but according to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG are confident that the final details of the deal can be agreed by the end of the day.
 


PSG have been chasing the 27-year-old since last summer and are now finally optimistic of closing out a deal with Manchester United for the Argentine.

Di Maria missed the flight last week that would have seen him join his Manchester United team-mates on their pre-season tour in US last Saturday and it further indicated towards an eventual separation between the player and the club this summer.

The winger and his family are said to have failed to settle down in Manchester and he is believed to be keen to move out of England to give himself a fresh start in a different country.

Manchester United signed the Argentine last summer from Real Madrid for a club record fee of €75m.
