Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio has parted ways with super agent Jorge Mendes.

The Portugal international custodian, who has been linked with Liverpool this year, is now represented by Carlos Goncalves' ProEleven agency, according to Portuguese sports daily O Jogo.

Patricio had been represented by renowned super agent Mendes, who counts Cristiano Ronaldo amongst his clients, but has now chosen to end his association with the deal-maker.

The goalkeeper's future at Sporting Lisbon has been the subject of fierce speculation, but for now he remains with the capital club.

The custodian's contract with the Portuguese giants runs until the summer of 2018.
