Bayern Munich full-back David Alaba has mocked a mooted big-money bid from Manchester United for Barcelona forward Neymar.

The Red Devils, who have notably missed out on Nicolas Otamendi, Sergio Ramos and Pedro Rodriguez this summer, are desperate to make signings before the transfer window closes and have had their kitty topped up by the sale of Angel di Maria to Paris Saint-Germain.

Louis van Gaal's men have been reported to be preparing a bid of €190m to sign Neymar from Barcelona, even though the Catalan club's president has insisted the Brazilian is not for sale.

And Alaba has mocked the mooted move.

Asked about a €190m move for Neymar to Manchester United, the Bayern Munich star smiled and said: "It's not a bargain is it."
