Juan Mata says he is sure Manchester United will soon start scoring goals, after the Red Devils recorded their third consecutive 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Louis van Gaal's men are having difficulty hitting the back of the net, but Mata believes his side's draw against Palace was different to those against Middlesbrough and Manchester City which proceeded it.
The Spaniard praised the Eagles' ability to restrict the Red Devils and stated his belief that it is only a matter of time until Manchester United start to score again regularly.
"The draw in the Premier League against Crystal Palace was different. They are a team that knows how to play their cards", Mata wrote on his weekly blog.
"We weren't able to create good chances. We need to get better in that aspect of the game because I think we have the players to do that", the Spaniard continued.

"I'm sure that the goals will come soon and, with them, the good results."
Mata and his team-mates will be hoping for a change of fortunes tomorrow evening when they welcome CSKA Moscow to Old Trafford for a Champions League group game.
The reverse fixture between the two sides in the group ended with a 1-1 draw in Russia, as Van Gaal's men were unable to claim all three points.
