Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino has accused supporter group Leeds Fans United of telling fairy tales and says they have acted "like kids in a sweet shop" over a potential takeover.
Earlier today Cellino's lawyers informed Leeds Fans United that the Italian businessman has no intention of selling his majority shareholding in the club to them.
The development was a U-turn on the part of Cellino, who agreed in principle to sell his shares to the supporter group last week after fans chanted for him to leave during a 2-0 home defeat to Blackburn Rovers.
Now he has hit out at Leeds Fans United.
Cellino was quoted as saying by the Yorkshire Evening Post: "They talk too much. It is too dangerous, this kind of publicity.

"They say a lot of fairy tales. They really are like kids in a sweet shop", he added.
Leeds Fans United had wanted Cellino to sign an exclusivity agreement allowing them a measure of protection against rival bidders while they went through the club's books.
It is now unclear whether Cellino intends to speak to other parties about selling his majority shareholding or will fight on as Leeds supremo.
He is currently battling a Football League imposed ban which would prevent him from running the club until next summer.
