Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has praised Tottenham Hotspur's decision to allow Dele Alli to stay on with MK Dons for the remainder of last season, making the leap into the Premier League at the start of the 2015/16 season.
The Lilywhites managed to secure the last minute signature of the 19-year-old on 2nd February, 2015, on a five-and-a-half year deal, but loaned him back to the then League One side for the rest of the season.
After a successful last term with his childhood club where he managed to help the side secure promotion to the Championsip, Alli has now returned to north London and has hit the ground running, impressing with his performances for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The youngster has in fact managed a total of 16 appearances for his side so far, scoring a total of two goals and has also provided his team-mates with a single assist.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Henry insisted: "The one thing I would say about Dele Alli and Tottenham is they did extremely well because they bought him, but he stayed at MK Dons.
