Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino were on target today for Liverpool in a friendly victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

While Liverpool have seen a raft of first team players head off on international duty, several stars have remained behind at Melwood and Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was able to name them in his side to take on Wolves.

Kolo Toure and Dejan Lovren both lined up in defence, while Spaniard Alberto Moreno turned out.

Experienced midfielder Lucas Leiva played, as did Coutinho and Firmino – and the duo shared all three goals in Liverpool's 3-2 win amongst themselves.

Coutinho scored two goals, with Firmino chipping in with one goal as Wolves were beaten at Liverpool's Melwood training ground.
