Marco Verratti’s agent has claimed that his client has no doubts about returning to Paris Saint-Germain, despite last week’s terrorist attacks on France.
France and Paris have been on tenterhooks since terrorists attacked prominent cultural spots of the city on Friday night, killing over 120 people in the process and injuring hundreds more.
The Stade de France was attacked while a France-Germany friendly was being played, a prominent concert hall also came under gunfire and the assailants also carried out attacks on other public places.
It has been described as the worst attack on France since the Second World War and a national emergency was declared across the country following the incident.
With Ligue 1 set to get under way again next weekend, there has been doubts foreign players might raise concerns about returning to France following the attacks, but PSG have been assured by Verratti’s camp that they have nothing to worry about.

Marco Di Campli, the Italian’s agent, admits that his client was stunned by the attacks, but insisted that the midfielder has problem in returning to Paris and is hoping that normal services should resume soon in the French capital.
“We are all stunned”, Di Campli told RMC.
“France had already experienced such moments, but what happened on Friday is even more serious.
“Marco was not in France on Friday, but he is not afraid to return to Paris. Everything should return to normal.”
Wembley is expected to give a rousing reception to the French national team when they step on the pitch to take on England this evening.
