Norwich City are considering making a play to sign Juventus striker Simone Zaza on a loan deal in January.

In their first season back in the Premier League, the Canaries have managed to stay above the relegation quagmire, but are only four points clear of the dreaded drop zone.

The Canaries are considering making additions to their squad in January to boost their survival chances this season and signing a striker is claimed to be one of their main priorities.

And according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, the Canaries are considering making a loan offer for Juventus striker Zaza in the winter transfer window, in order to add more goals to their squad.

Zaza has struggled to secure a regular starting spot at the Juventus Stadium this season and has scored just twice in all competitions for the Bianconeri.

If Juventus decide to loan Zaza out in January, it would only be to a club which have an Italian manager in charge.
