Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose has predicted a tough match against West Ham this weekend as has always been over the course of the last few years.

The two teams have a rich history of rivalry to boast about with the Hammers getting the better of their opponents quite a number of times.

Rose in fact remembers well their three matches against West Ham during the 2013/14 season, when in spite of battling with relegation, the Hammers beat the Lilywhites on all three occasions, with one of those being in the League Cup.

Rose further recalls a game played in Februrary, when they had to stage a late fightback to score two late goals to draw the match.

“It will be a tough game, as they always are against West Ham. I don’t remember anything different", Rose said in an interview with his club's official website.

"Even a couple of years ago [2013-14] when they were fighting relegation they beat us three times.

"Last season they were 2-0 up at White Hart Lane before we scored twice late on. It will be a test, but we’re confident, especially at home."

The north Londoners are unbeaten in their last eleven league matches, having won five and drawn six of them by virtue of which they are currently placed fifth in the league table with 21 points from 12 games.
