Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has backed manager Rafael Benitez to carry on in his job in the wake of Los Blancos being crushed 4-0 in El Clasico by Barcelona at the weekend.
Barcelona outplayed their hosts at the Bernabeu and eased to a victory which increases the gap between themselves and Real Madrid in La Liga to six points.

Perez said: "Rafa has only just started his job here. Let him keep working and he will achieve his objectives."
And he added: "He has all our support and confidence."
