Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock believes Steve Evans has a big job on his hands at a massive club such as Leeds United.

The Londoners will be hosting Evans’ Leeds United tomorrow at Loftus Road and are aware that the away side will be under pressure coming into the game on the back of a home loss to relegation dwellers Rotherham last weekend.

Both Warnock and Evans are known for their animated personalities on the touchline, but the QPR boss feels his antics are nothing in front of the effervescent but sometimes combustible Scotsman.

However, he pointed out that Evans behaves in such a way because he is passionate about the game, which is reflected by his antics on the touchline.

Warnock told QPR’s official website: “Steve makes me look like an angel, and not many can do that!

“But he cares, he's passionate – and he shows that on the touchline.”

Warnock, a former Leeds manager, is aware of the pressure at a big club such as Leeds and believes Evans will soon be coming to terms with the enormity of the job at Elland Road.

"You don’t realise until you're in charge at Leeds what big a club it is – and Steve will be seeing that now.”
