Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has stressed that his side will focus on their strengths against Manchester City on Sunday, having done their homework on the Citizens.
The north London side are currently second in the Premier League table, and Mauricio Pochettino’s men are being increasingly considered as credible title challengers after a stellar run of form over the last month or so.
Tottenham’s credibility as title contenders is expected to come under severe pressure when they face Manchester City at the Etihad and while he admits that it is a big game, Alli insisted that they are in a confident mood ahead of their visit to the north west.
The midfielder told the club’s official website: "We want to win every game, no matter who it’s against.
“We know who we’re coming up against and we know how good they are. We’ve done a lot of work on it and we’re up for it, as we are for every game.”

The midfielder added that Tottenham’s impressive season is based on the fact that they have not looked too far ahead and on the back of a good run of form, he feels it is important that Spurs concentrate on their own strengths rather than think about the opposition ahead of their visit to the Etihad.
"It’s been really good this season how we’ve concentrated on a game at a time and not treated any game any differently.
"We’re in really good form so we’ll go there, focus on ourselves and try to use our strengths to get the win.
"We’re in great form, but we’re not getting too carried away.
“We’ll just keep playing our own game."
