Liverpool striker Divock Origi is delighted at the way his side thrashed bottom-placed Aston Villa 6-0 on Sunday and is hoping it will mark the start of a better run of form.
The Reds have just won ten out of their 26 league fixtures so far, losing eight, and drawing the rest, and are currently sitting well off the top four spots in eighth.
But their outing at Villa Park turned out to be quite a night for the players and the fans alike, after Jurgen Klopp’s side registered six goals from six different players as the Villans were completely outplayed and outclassed by the Anfield outfit.
Origi, who came on as a substitute for Daniel Sturridge in the 62nd minute and himself put one in the net, was ecstatic with his team’s performance and is confident that the game was merely the beginning to what should be a better end to the season.
“I think the score says it all”, the Belgian international was quoted as saying by Liverpool’s official website.
