Rangers have confirmed that Ryan Hardie has joined fellow Championship outfit Raith Rovers on a short-term emergency loan deal.
The 18-year-old, whose four-week loan stint at Stark's Park will start from Saturday, has clocked up 79 minutes over four appearances in all competitions for the Gers in the present campaign.
The striker’s last Rangers appearance came on 10th January when he was introduced as a second half substitute by manager Mark Warburton in the 5-1 win over Cowdenbeath in a Scottish Cup game.
Hardie, who progressed through Rangers’ youth academy, was on the bench for the 2-1 win over Premiership opponents Kilmarnock in a Scottish Cup replay on Tuesday.
The youngster has thus far amassed 10 appearances for the Scottish giants, scoring twice, with both his strikes coming in a 3-1 league victory at Dumbarton last season.
