Rangers Under-20 boss Ian Durrant is hopeful about his side kicking on with their campaign, following their 4-1 win over Falkirk in a developmental league match yesterday.
The Gers, who headed in to the match on the back of four consecutive losses, were 4-0 up going into the half-time break, courtesy of a Scott Roberts hat-trick and a maiden strike from winter signing Mekhi McLeod.
Although Falkirk managed to reduce the arrears after the break, the visitors comfortably saw out the game, thus returning to winning ways.
And Durrant, whose side have a few home games coming up, wants the Scottish giants to build on the win and kick-start their floundering campaign.
“I don’t want to be too critical of the boys, but we have played a lot better and lost”, he told Rangers TV.

“We showed a good bit of resilience tonight to come back like that.
“We got our early goal and then built on it, and we looked quite solid through the game.
“I’m sure the boys are fed up with me harping on at them about the discipline here, the challenges here and what they have to achieve, but tonight they got a thoroughly deserved victory.
“We have a couple of home games coming up now so hopefully they kick on now.”
Rangers are currently eighth in the developmental league table with 27 points from 18 games, 22 adrift of their fierce rivals and leaders Celtic, who have played a game fewer.
Durrant’s team will next play Partick Thistle at Dumbarton on Monday evening.
