FC Midtjylland midfielder Pione Sisto feels their Europa League round of 32 tie against Manchester United is still wide open after the English side got an away goal last night.
Manchester United suffered a humiliating 2-1 reversal at the MCH Arena last night, but many feel that despite their loss, the away goal could prove crucial when Midtjylland travel to Old Trafford next week.
Sisto, one of the goalscorers for Midtjylland last night, feels the away goal has tilted the balance of the tie towards Manchester United despite his side getting the victory, but believes anything could still happen at Old Trafford.
The midfielder was quoted as saying by Danish outlet Bold: “I think our chances are a little less.
“We won, but they got an away goal. The tie is wide open I believe.”

He also lamented the fact they couldn’t take their chances to score more goals, which could have more or less finished the tie last night in Denmark.
“If you look at the chances, we could have won by more. It’s a shame, but we are of course happy with the victory.”
While the away goal is important, Louis van Gaal will be hoping that his side pick up their performance levels by a few notches when Midtjylland visit Old Trafford next week.
