Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is not sure whether his side’s FA Cup exit will help them in the long run this season.
Pochettino’s men were knocked out of the competition earlier today at the hands of a struggling Crystal Palace side, who won 1-0 at White Hart Lane, despite dominating possession and creating more chances than Alan Pardew’s outfit.
With Tottenham considered credible title contenders and still involved in Europe, the Argentine admits that it has been a tough period for his side because of the fixture congestion they are facing.
Many feel that the cup exit could be a blessing in disguise for Spurs, because they have one less competition to play for, but the Tottenham boss is not too sure about that notion.
The Tottenham boss told the BBC: "It's a tough period for us.
