Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward has admitted that it is a massive week for Liverpool, with his side due to compete in two cup competitions over the next six days.
The Reds, who played out a goalless draw against Augsburg at the WWK Arena in a Europa League Round of 32 first leg clash last week, will welcome the German team to Anfield for the return fixture on Thursday.
The Merseyside giants will then look to win their first trophy since 2012 on Sunday when they take on Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley.
And Ward, whose side’s last piece of silverware also came in the form of the League Cup, insisted that Liverpool are fully concentrating on their upcoming two fixtures.
“It’s a massive [week]”, he said on LFC TV.
