Manuel Pellegrini has told his Manchester City side they are not through to the last eight of the Champions League just yet, despite beating Dynamo Kyiv 3-1 in the Ukraine.
Goals from Sergio Aguero (15th minute), David Silva (40th minute) and Yaya Toure (90th minute) made sure that the Citizens headed back to England after the first leg of their Round of 16 tie firmly in control.
Dynamo Kyiv will need to score on at least three occasions at the Etihad Stadium to stand any chance of turning the tables, but Pellegrini insists his side cannot close the book on the tie just yet.
"I'm very happy because it is a very good result", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.
"It is not finished but playing away and having a two-goal lead is very good", the Chilean continued.

"The team played well and had lots of chances. Maybe when it was 2-1 we had moments of doubt, but then we got the third goal.
"Is the tie settled? No, it is important in football to never think it is finished. But to have that third goal gives us more confidence for the second leg", Pellegrini added.
Manchester City must now focus on the League Cup final against Liverpool this coming weekend as Pellegrini looks for his men to collect the first major trophy of the season.
