Michael O'Halloran has admitted that he is frustrated at not being able to take part in Rangers’ Scottish Cup campaign as he is cup-tied.
The forward, who joined the Gers from St. Johnstone on a four-and-a-half-year deal during the winter transfer window, has already played in the Scottish Cup this season for the Scottish Premiership outfit.
As a result, O'Halloran will not be able to play in the domestic cup competition for his new employers in the current campaign, with Rangers scheduled to face Dundee in the quarter-finals.
And the 25-year-old, who also missed the fifth round games with Kilmarnock, acknowledged that it is “hard” to miss Rangers’ Scottish Cup games.
However, O'Halloran is prepared to let go of the disappointment as he is fully focused on helping Rangers win the Scottish Championship this season.

“Obviously it’s frustrating but there’s a few players cup-tied and that’s the nature of football, the way the transfer window comes around the cup”, he said in his pre-match press conference yesterday, when asked about his feelings about being cup-tied.
“I’m totally focused on the league but it’s hard obviously watching when you’re out, but that’s football, you’ve to go on with it.”
O'Halloran has thus far clocked up 206 minutes over three league games for Rangers, scoring once.
