Rangers starlet Ryan Hardie has hailed a perfect day after he scored the winning goal for Raith Rovers and then got news of the Gers netting a later winner at home to St Mirren.
Hardie is currently on loan at Raith and came off the bench just after the hour mark, eventually scoring in the 89th minute to help his team to a 3-2 win over Morton.
The striker's parent club, Rangers, had to wait until the 86th minute to finally break through St Mirren's defences as Harry Forrester scored.
And Hardie could not think of a more perfect day, having scored the winner for Raith and seen Rangers move eleven points clear at the top of the Championship table.
The striker took to Twitter to write: "What a win for Raith today delighted to grab the winner!!
