Rangers have confirmed that Ross McCrorie has joined Ayr United on a short-term loan deal.
The Gers Under-20 skipper, who joined the Scottish League One outfit on loan for 28 days, is available for selection to make his debut for the Honest Men today.
McCrorie is yet to make a senior appearance for Rangers, with the right-back making the step up to the Under-20s from the Under-17s in the summer.
The youngster, whose twin brother Robbie also plays for Rangers Under-20s, albeit as a goalkeeper, has represented Scotland up to Under-19 level.
It will be McCrorie’s maiden first team adventure, with Ayr United chasing promotion to the Scottish Championship.
