Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is excited to see his men play against one of the best teams in Europe in the shape of Borussia Dortmund tonight.

Spurs will take to the field at the Westfalenstadion tonight to take on Thomas Tuchel’s Dortmund in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 tie in Germany.




Billed as one of the ties of the round, both teams are known for playing an exciting brand of football and Pochettino admits that it is going to be a challenge for his side to test their mettle against Dortmund.

Dortmund, who recently played in the Champions League final, have been termed one of the best teams in Europe by Pochettino and the Spurs boss is keen to see how his young side cope with the German powerhouses tonight.
 


The Argentine said on Spurs TV: “It is going to be a tough challenge.

“Dortmund are one of the best teams in Europe; we are in the Europa League, but it’s normal to play them in the Champions League too.

“I think it’s a game we should enjoy and it’s an exciting game.”

Tottenham will look for a positive result in Germany this evening, before they host Dortmund in the crucial second leg at White Hart Lane next week.
