Leeds United head coach Steve Evans feels the last leg of the season is all about getting results as all teams are under pressure to put points on the board.

After a dire run of form, which saw them win just once in eleven league games, the Whites have picked up some momentum in the last week or so, with back-to-back wins over Bolton Wanderers and Cardiff City.

While even a week ago there were fears that Leeds could get drawn into the relegation fight, two wins later the club are hopeful about a top ten finish, and are in a buoyant mood going into tomorrow’s game against Blackburn Rovers.

With the top ten is in sight again, Evans admits that at this point of the season it is all about getting results and points on the board, as all the teams are fighting for something in the league.

Talking about the final few months of the campaign, the Leeds boss said on LUTV: “It’s the results time of the season.

“It really is the time that the greatest manager lived in my life Sir Alex Ferguson called, the squeaky bum time.

“We are in squeaky time now, for everyone, so you have to produce results.”

Evans’ team are 15th in the league table on 44 points, just five off tenth placed Preston North End.
