Leeds United defender Sol Bamba believes that his side still have all to play for after registering three consecutive wins in the Championship this month.

The Whites managed to beat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 away from home on Saturday, thus climbing up the Championship ladder and are now placed 13th in the table with 47 points from 36 matches.

The results have in fact forced Bamba and his team to rethink their ambitions for this season as they now look to finish the season as strongly as possible.

“We’re just going on the pitch and enjoying ourselves”, Bamba told his club's official website.

“I think you can see that in the result and the way we have played.

“We had no expectations two weeks ago and were looking over our shoulders, but now we’re looking up.

“It’s just about enjoying it and seeing what happens."

Refuting claims that his side now have nothing to play for this season, the defender said that it would be wrong to say that. As a matter of fact, Bamba feels that they have got it all to play for and will play for the fans and the club's pride.

“We have to finish as strongly as possible. When people say we have nothing to play for, I think we’ve got it all to play for.

“We’re professionals and we’re playing for pride, for the fans and for ourselves. We’ll see where that will take us."

Next up for the Peacocks will be a Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield and the 31-year-old feels that a repeat of Saturday's performance against Blackburn will be enough to earn them another three points.

“We’ve set up a good platform for the Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield.

"We’re at home so we’re expected to get the three points and I think if we play like we did on Saturday at Blackburn, we’ll have no worries at all.”
