Fixture: Manchester United vs Liverpool
Competition: Europa League Round of 16 Second Leg
Kick-off: 20:05 (UK time)

Manchester United have confirmed their starting line-up and substitutes to host fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford in a Europa League match this evening.

The Red Devils lost the first leg of their Round of 16 tie 2-0 at Anfield and face a stiff task overturning the deficit and booking a spot in the last eight of a competition they have been eyeing winning to reach next season's Champions League. Dutch boss Louis van Gaal, places his faith in young Marcus Rashford in attack, while Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard will look to provide another threat going forward. In midfield, Marouane Fellaini plays, as does the experienced Michael Carrick.

At the back, Van Gaal's central defensive pairing is Daley Blind and Chris Smalling, while on the bench he can call for Memphis Depay if he needs to bring on another attacker.

Manchester United head into the second leg on the back of a 1-1 weekend draw at home against West Ham in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Tonight's game could have a big bearing on whether the Red Devils' season is judged a success, as exiting the Europa League to Liverpool would be a big blow.
