Fixture: Southampton vs Liverpool
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 13:30 (UK time)

Liverpool have officially announced their starting line-up and substitutes to lock horns with Southampton at St. Mary's in a Premier League fixture this afternoon.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, whose side are high on confidence after dumping Manchester United out of the Europa League, chooses to give Jordan Henderson a rest, dropping the midfielder to the bench, with Joe Allen replacing him in the centre of the park. The captain's armband today goes to Jon Flanagan. Up front, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi will look to do damage against the Saints.

Also playing are Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana, who will be keen to create, while Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho continue their defensive partnership at the back. Christian Benteke is on the bench today, as is Martin Skrtel.

Liverpool currently sit ninth in the Premier League standings and have not given up hope of a late dash for a top four spot. Victory for Klopp's men this afternoon would push Liverpool on to 47 points and just four points off a top four Champions League place.
