Paris Saint-Germain are in discussions with Toni Kroos’ agent to sign the Real Madrid midfielder in the summer, but Manchester City and Manchester United are also ready to pounce, it has been claimed.

After spending two years at Real Madrid, the midfielder could be willing to leave the club in the summer, and the French champions have taken some proactive steps to take him to the Parc des Princes.




According to French radio station RMC, PSG have been in discussions with the Germany midfielder’s agents for weeks over a deal to take him to the French capital in the summer and are confident of getting his signature.

PSG have also held informal talks with Real Madrid over a deal to and have been told that a fee of around €45m would be required to take the midfielder away from the Spanish capital.
 


However, money is not the concern for the French champions as they are wary of competition from the Premier League, where Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in Kroos.

The 26-year-old has made 88 appearances for Real Madrid and has a contract until 2020 with the club.
