Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld wants his side to focus on themselves rather than league leaders Leicester City, with the Belgian admitting the Foxes are showing no sign of slipping up yet.

Spurs are widely thought to be the only side capable of overhauling Claudio Ranieri's men at the top of the Premier League table. The White Hart Lane outfit sit second and five points behind the Foxes.

Alderweireld admits that Leicester keep picking up points, but he does not want Spurs to fixate on their title rivals and instead just try to win every game that comes along.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Belgium's friendly against Portugal on Tuesday, the Spurs defender explained: "The problem is that Leicester continue to move forward.

"But we must not look too much towards them", the Belgian continued.
