Leeds United legend Eddie Gray believes that Rotherham United have shown Championship winning form under Neil Warnock, ahead of the Millers' clash with the Whites at the New York Stadium this afternoon.

Warnock took charge of the club in February, when Rotherham were staring down the barrel, with relegation looking an imminent possibility, but the former Leeds boss has turned their fortunes around.

The Millers have won four of their last five games, with no losses under their belt, and they have scored victories over clubs such as Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday, considered the form teams of the Championship.

Gray has lavished praise on Warnock for working a ‘miracle’ at the New York Stadium, and believes Rotherham look more like a Championship chasing side, rather than a team looking to avoid relegation.

The Leeds legend told LUTV: “He has worked a miracle there; he has done unbelievably well.

“You look at the points tally in the last half dozen games, it's Championship winning form. They have climbed the table and have given themselves a tremendous opportunity to stay in the division.

“One thing I can guarantee, they will be fired up.”

Despite Rotherham’s good form, Leeds are desperate to come away with a win from the New York Stadium as they are looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat at home to local rivals Huddersfield before the international break.
