Rangers captain Lee Wallace wants to win all of the major honours in Scotland with the club after suffering through the lower divisions with the Glasgow giants.

The defender joined the Gers from Hearts in the summer of 2011, and after his first season at the club, Rangers had to suffer liquidation, which forced them to start from the fourth tier of Scottish football.

Wallace has been with the club throughout the journey through the lower divisions of Scottish football and has played in far flung places of the country, wearing the Rangers shirt.

With promotion to the Scottish Premiership achieved by winning the Championship this season, the defender has the target of winning all the major trophies with the club and wants to see them playing in the Champions League again.

“I’m definitely aware of that”, the Rangers captain told the club official website when asked about being through the journey with the club.

“It’s been mentioned a few times about winning a league title at every level in Scottish football and I’ve now played at almost every ground in the country as well.

“Having won the Petrofac Cup it would be nice to win every honour in Scotland with Rangers but I’ve always tried to maintain that the most important thing is how the team is evolving and moving forward.

“We’re making the small steps but it will be hugely satisfying if I can be part of a team that, from being where we were at that first game at Brechin in the Ramsdens Cup, can return to the Champions League group stages and lift top flight trophies again.”

Wallace will have another opportunity to add one more trophy to his kitty when Rangers take on Hibernian in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on 21st May.
