Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass is remaining calm over Celtic’s reported interested in him.

The Scotland international, who helped Hull to gain promotion back to the Premier League after they beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in the Championship playoff final at the weekend, enjoyed a decent 2015/16 campaign.

Snodgrass made 29 appearances in all competitions for the Tigers last season, scoring five times and providing six assists.

And it has been reported in some corners that new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is eyeing a move for the former Leeds United man.

Snodgrass, who admitted that he has been told about Celtic’s reported interest in him, however, vowed to give his all for Hull while he remains at the club.

“To be honest with you, I think everyone and their dog has messaged me about it. You are always the last to know”, he was quoted as saying by the Herald Scotland.

“A new manager has gone into Celtic and it’s great for Scottish football, I have to say. But, for myself, I am a Hull City player.

“The supporters have been terrific for me. I have a three-year contract and I’m going to give this club every drop I have until I’m told otherwise.

“I have been through so much. These team-mates of mine are brilliant. I have great rapport with them and I love going into training every day.

“We go in with a smile on our faces. I can’t control what happens outside the club. The only thing I can control is what happens here and I have loved every second of Hull.”

Snodgrass, who started his career at Livingston, joined Hull from Norwich City in 2014.

However, a serious knee injury meant he made just one league appearance for Hull in his first season at the KC Stadium as the club failed to avoid relegation to the Championship.

Snodgrass also has 17 caps and three goals for Scotland to his name.
