Rangers have officially confirmed the signing of 37-year-old defender Clint Hill on a free transfer.

Hill was a free agent following his release from English Championship club QPR at the end of last season and has been looking for a new challenge.

Rangers have answered the call and Hill has put pen to paper on a one-year contract with the Ibrox outfit.

He adds experience to the Rangers squad, ahead of their return to the Scottish top flight next season after they won promotion from the Scottish Championship.

The left-sided defender joins Josh Windass, Matt Crooks, Jordan Rossiter and Joey Barton as Gers boss Mark Warburton's signings so far this summer.
