French side Rennes have received a substantial offer from Premier League club Everton for winger Kamil Grosicki.

The 28-year-old has attracted interest from outside France this summer, with Everton joining Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in being firm fans of the Poland international.

Toffees manager Ronald Koeman is keen for Grosicki to land at Goodison Park and according to French daily Le Telegramme, an offer described as "substantial" has been slapped in by the Merseyside giants.

The 28-year-old has been in Koeman's sights from the Dutchman's spell in charge of Southampton.

Grosicki made 33 appearances in Ligue 1 for Rennes last season, scoring nine goals and providing his team-mates with three assists.
