Swansea have slapped in a bid for Lazio target and West Ham forward Enner Valencia, according to Italian outlet Lalaziosiamonoi.

The Ecuador international has been linked with a move away from West Ham this summer, and Lazio have been doing all the running over the last few weeks to get a deal over the line.

However, the Serie A giants are yet to reach an agreement over a move for the player with West Ham, and are set to face competition from another Premier league club for Valencia.

It has been claimed that Swansea are working on a deal to sign the forward and are said to have slapped in a €10m bid, with €3m performance based add-ons for the Ecuadorian.

Lazio on the other hand are prepared to offer €2.2m for a loan deal, and another €10m if they finally agree to make Valencia’s move to Italy permanent at a later date.

While West Ham are considering all the offers, the Hammers want more money for the player, and are also yet to agree to Lazio’s loan offer, which only includes an option to make the move permanent.

For the moment Lazio are only prepared to make Valencia’s proposed move permanent if he plays 75% of the club's matches, but West Ham want that threshold to be lowered to 50% of the games.

Lazio are also facing competition from West Brom and Trabzonspor, who are also keeping a close watch on proceedings in east London.
