Arsenal linked forward Alexandre Lacazette remains keen to leave Lyon this summer, but is not pushing for a transfer at the moment.

The striker’s future at Lyon has been a topic of speculation for more than year now, and with the summer transfer window at its peak, the forward has again been linked with a move away from the club.

Paris Saint-Germain remain keen to sign the player, and Arsenal are amongst the Premier League clubs who are showing an interest in the France international this summer.

With Samuel Umtiti joining Barcelona for €25m, Lyon are not under financial pressure to sell the player, and Lacazette’s entourage have also remained silent on the striker’s future.

However, according to French sports daily L’Equipe, striker has expressed his desire to leave the club to the Lyon hierarchy, but the Frenchman remains reluctant to force their hand.

Lacazette is hoping one of his suitors open talks with Lyon soon over a deal to sign him, and come up with an offer which would satisfy the Ligue 1 outfit this summer.

While he would be disappointed if he has to continue for one more season at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, he is not keen to force Lyon into selling him as he has respect for the club.

A product of the academy, Lacazette has scored 92 goals in 230 appearances for Lyon, and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
