Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that Federico Fazio, Nabil Bentaleb and Alex Pritchard are not in his plans for the future.

Spurs have travelled to Australia for their summer tour and will take on Juventus and Atletico Madrid as part of the pre-season International Champions Cup tournament.




Despite taking a strong squad down under, there are a notable absentees in their touring party in Clinton N’Jie, Fazio, Bentaleb and Pritchard.

N’Jie has been heavily tipped to be on his way to Marseille on a season-long loan deal this summer, but Pochettino revealed an injury is the reason behind him staying in London.
 


However, he spelt it out clearly that the other three players are not part of his plans, indicating that they could leave the club this summer.

"N'Jie is injured – he is in London and not available to come", the Tottenham boss said in a press conference, quoted by beIN Sports.

"The situation of other three players is very clear.

"They are not in my plans."

Pochettino remains keen to add more depth to his squad ahead of a season with Champions League football, but he has made it clear that he is unwilling to carry deadwood in his team.
