Paul Pogba has indicated that he will be making his 'second' debut for Manchester United this evening against Southampton.

Manchester United snapped Pogba up for a world record transfer fee of £89m from Juventus earlier this summer, but the France midfielder was suspended for the Red Devils' Premier League opener at Bournemouth.

Boss Jose Mourinho has hinted that Pogba, despite having few minutes in his legs over pre-season, is fit enough to play some part tonight.

And the Frenchman believes he will be making what will be his second debut for the club this evening, in Friday night's Premier League clash.

Pogba wrote on Twitter: "Manchester x Southampton. Hot for tonight's debut!"

All eyes will be on the midfielder if he does take to the pitch at Old Trafford tonight, with much expectation on his shoulders due to the huge transfer fee Manchester United paid to snap him up.

Pogba has already played senior football for Manchester United as he came through the club's youth ranks before leaving for Juventus in 2012, after refusing to extend his contract.

He has taken the number 6 shirt at the Red Devils.
