West Ham are set to press the accelerator for Juventus striker Simone Zaza, and are ready to propose an initial loan deal for the Italian international.

The Hammers have been on Zaza’s trail all summer and after his proposed transfer to Wolfsburg collapsed earlier this month, the east Londoners are ready to provide the final push to sign the forward.

Napoli are also interested in snapping up the Juventus striker, who is keen to leave the Italian champions for more first team football, but West Ham are the ones who are laying down the groundwork for an imminent approach.

According to Sky Italia, the Hammers are set to propose an initial loan deal for the Italian striker, and are ready to accept an obligatory purchase option in their agreement with Juventus.

The east Londoners are prepared to offer a loan fee of €5m to €6m, and another €22m once they make Zaza’s move to the Olympic Stadium permanent after a certain number of games.
